On behalf of the Shanghai Community International School (SCIS) and the Hangzhou International School (HIS), I welcome you to our website. Our intent is to maintain webpages and links that reflect the unique teaching and learning experiences at SCIS and HIS schools. While we have done our best to share our environment with you, SCIS and HIS schools are best experienced in person. Current and prospective SCIS and HIS parents are most welcome on our campuses and there are daily events and activities to take part in (including just relaxing in the café and casually observing student-community life). On behalf of Nanjing International School (NIS), I welcome you to our website and to our school. NIS was founded in 1992 and is proud to be the first three-programme International Baccalaureate school in China, PreK to Grade 12, and the only IB World School in Nanjing. Xiamen International School (XIS) was established in August 1997 and is located on the southern coast of China in Fujian Province. XIS was the first international school in Fujian Province to be authorized by the Ministry of Education to accept expatriate students. It is rapidly joining the ranks of the world’s finest schools according to international school standards.
